We are very fortunate to be able to own and Ride Harley Davidson motorcycles. The best motorcycles in the world. Let’s give a little bit of time to the less fortunate of our community.
Email me if you can help. Tom Pellerito
I have been contacted by Susan Brown from SOUL as well as Patty from SOUL about assistance that they are requesting for their party to setup, sort, passout gifts, and clean-up following the event. They are requesting our assistance in getting approximately 4 volunteers at the church from 10am to 1pm, as well as 4 people to help with teardown and cleanup from 3pm to 5pm.
They are also in need of assistance in getting donations and gifts picked up from 2 seperate locations where the gifts are stored and then have them dropped of at the church on Saturday morning at 10am.
They are agreeable to having the gifts picked up on Friday and stored in a couple of trailers overnight and then delivered to church Saturday morning at 10am. (North Congregational Church, 36520 W. Twelve Mile, Farmington Hills, MI 48331)
Saturday volunteers are needed to sort, unbox and display on tables the donated clothing that they have received. They also need volunteers to pack bags with give away items as well as organize the gifts for distribution.
They also need volunteers for pickup and delivery of the items from their 2 collection sites. ( Use of a couple trucks with enclosed trailers would be ideal due to the volume of gifts).
Their party is set to take care of 109 families which equals approximately 400 people. For those that attended last years party, they took care of aproximately 55 families or 200 people, so their efforts are now doubled!
I am hoping we can get the necessary volunteers from the Chapter to help them out.
Thank you for your consideration.
